Ingrīda Rutka studied at the Latvian Academy of Arts in the Master's program in the Textile Arts sub-field of Visual Arts, where she obtained a Master's degree in Art. As part of her studies, she participated in the Erasmus+ lifelong learning program in Italy, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lecce - Accademia di belle Arti di Lecce, where she deepened her knowledge in Painting, Photography, Decorative decoration and Graphics. Ingrida has been working as an interior textile designer for more than 10 years, currently running my own interior textile design studio Loooklins. Since 2016, active participation in exhibitions, art competitions and international art biennials in Australia and Belgium, as well as several solo exhibitions in Latvia. Since 2018, a member of the Latvian Textile Art Association. Participation in several Contemporary Culture Forums "White Night" with objects of light, sound, installations. Works with various forms and materials of artistic expression, painting techniques, photography, video, fiber objects, performance and installation art. At the same time, she runs individual art creative workshops. The authors have always been fascinated by new materials, the magic of texture and color possibilities, the extraordinary view of things. Art is infinite, - that's what the artist says!
